This notice covers the website at this domain and email correspondence with Clad Labs, Inc., which operates the Tacit brand ("Tacit," "Clad Labs," "we," "us"). It does not cover the datasets we license: the handling of contributor and source data is governed by the consent frameworks under which that data was collected and the definitive agreements under which it is delivered.
2. Information we collect
From visitors: standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — retained briefly for security and capacity planning. The Site sets no advertising trackers and runs no third-party analytics.
From correspondents: if you contact us, we receive what you send — typically your name, email address, organization, and the contents of your message.

4. How we use information
- To respond to you and conduct the engagement your correspondence concerns.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Write to inquiries@tacitdata.ai with the subject line "Privacy" and we will respond within the time the law requires. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their rights.
9. Security
We protect information with measures appropriate to our business: encryption in transit, restricted access, and deliberately minimal infrastructure. No measure is absolute; if ours fail, we will notify you as the law requires.
10. International transfers
Our infrastructure is located in the United States. Where information is transferred from jurisdictions that regulate cross-border transfers, we rely on recognized safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.
11. Children
The Site is directed to professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
12. Changes
We may revise this notice from time to time; the effective date above will reflect any revision. Material changes will be flagged prominently on this page.
